Veteran's Day

Veteran's Day was widely observed today, everyone seemed to have the day off.
We started with a sunrise beach walk, had some papayas and spam and egg musubi, did some yoga, and rode our bikes wherever we needed to go. Lunch, Ahi shoyu poke and edamame poke on special $3.99 per lb. at Times. Papaya salad, spring rolls, and lemongrass chicken bun for dinner. Playstation 3, a good book, talk story, catch up with emails. We still don't have cable TV, but don't miss it. Maybe we won't have TV at all.
These pictures are from the morning walk, we are recognizing many of the same people each day, and our dogs are also greeting some of the same canine friends. Tasha is quite a social butterfly, everyone wants to pet her. She gets so excited to be at the beach that she runs and talks, woooo woooo woooo as we start out. Danzig is coming out of his shell, he approaches other dogs with his tail wagging and even starts to play. Aloha!
